Removing paint from a property without damaging the underlying brick can be much easier said than done.
It’s a job that requires skilled professionals to ensure it is done delicately and to a high standard.
Recently, Vinci Response was called to a residential property that had just been renovated.
One of the final jobs required by the owners was the removal of red paint from the exterior of the property to reveal the brick beneath.
Here’s how our team got on.

1.0 Property
The house’s exterior was covered in red paint that the owner wanted to remove without causing damage to the brickwork.
2.0 Resolution
Before the remediation began, some important safety and preparation work was needed. Notably, ground and window protection was put in place to ensure the removal and restoration process did not damage the property.
All surfaces covered in red paint were blasted with the 1028NC Blast Pot. This is an excellent tool that can blast surfaces without causing damage to the original structure. It is very effective at removing paint, corrosion, and graffiti.
Following blasting, the bricks and mortar were checked, the ground and window protection was removed, the site was thoroughly cleaned, and the job was complete.
